A Fall Trip to Utah

Last Saturday my mom, dad, and I drove 14 hours from Oregon to Utah to spend time with family. This was a great trip for me because I haven't been to Utah in over 5 years! The trip was long (esspecially since I had come down with the flu the night before) but it was worth it knowing I'd be able to see all my relatives.

One of the first things we did was visit my Uncle Bart at his work. He has an awesome job working with very old fossils of all types of animals and plants.

Attention Class! We will now begin the lecture on this 50 million year old alligator.

I love this pic of all 3 of us admiring this piece. Thanks mom for the great shots!

After a couple days of rest my flu was pretty much all gone so I couldn't wait to see my Grandma and Grandpa! They sure do look great!

My grandpa is still looking awesome and gives some great hugs too!

Boy my Grandma sure has a beautiful smile.

Later my Dad and I put up a support structure for my grandparents' overhang in the back of the house. This will help keep it up during the winter months.

My Dad couldn't resist working on his Model-T. One of the things we had to do was put gas in it but we didn't have a car. So what do you do? Take your Uncle Jeff's 4 wheeler for cruise on the open road of course to go on a gas run. When we were almost back to the house I looked back and said "Oh no there's a police behind us!" My dad almost had a heart attack =P

Despite the gas though he couldn't get it started =(

Later on in the week we met my Uncle Bart and his kids for pizza at Firehouse! I had a blast reuniting with my cousins. It was really fun.
